Water line chlorination
New and repaired water piping has to be disinfected before anyone drinks from it. Certified Clean Water Corporation chlorinates potable water systems throughout Southern California, then proves the result with testing from a state-accredited laboratory.
How it works
- Chlorinate. We disinfect the new or repaired piping.
- Hold. The system holds for the required contact time.
- Flush. We flush the system clean.
- Test. We collect samples and take them to an accredited laboratory to confirm the system is free of coliform bacteria. More on bacteria testing.
- Document. You get a signed report package, the chlorination record and lab results, ready for the inspector and your closeout binder.
Done to code
Our work follows the California Plumbing Code and the industry standards your inspector and your specification expect. California issues a separate specialty license for water conditioning, the C-55, and we carry it (CSLB #1111832).
